"Why do you love John Barrowman so much?"
"What is it about John Barrowman?"
"Why are you going to see John Barrowman again?"
"But why do you want to meet him again?"

These are questions I get asked all the time, more commonly by people not necessarily in the fandom world and I’m never able to give them a specific answer.

I was asked again tonight and really tried to put it into words but I just couldn’t pin down anything in particular that seemed to answer the question. He’s just an incredible human being, who cares about his fans more than anything and can make me smile and keep me entertained with his array of many talents in the toughest of times.

So yeah, I may not be able to explain it to people, and they may not understand but he makes the world a better place and my love for him seems to continue to grow every day. I couldn’t be more proud to call myself a fan of his.

John Barrowman @ Chicago Comic Con.

Last weekend I flew out from the UK to Chicago and attended Chicago Comic Con and here’s the story behind seeing John Barrowman!

First of all, as I’m sure you’re all aware, Barrowman overslept and missed his flight meaning that he would be late for the convention (the fool!)
So whilst he was on his way to Chicago he said he would be tweeting as it was the least he could do for being late.

My friends and I had taken a bottle of Grey Goose to give to John as a present at the convention and decided to tweet him a picture (below) to say because he was late, we’d drunk his present, not really expecting him to reply.

However, being Barrowman, he surprised us all and so came this reply (I feel I should add at this point he knows us pretty well, we see him a lot, and he calls me Rackk.. but that’s another story!)

This tweet therefore pretty much set up the rest of the weekend and seeing him for his photo ops later that evening!

Not long after this, we had our rescheduled photo ops and due to having his VIP tickets, we were at the front of the queue.

As I walked through the door, the conversation went as follows:

John: "Hellllloo…. Did you drink my fucking vodka, you fucking bitch?" *Cracks up laughing*
Me: …… “Yeah, I did!” *Bursts out laughter*
John: Come here and give me a hug!” *Pulls me into the biggest hug, ever!*

Swiftly after, he proceeds to turn me around and reposition me for the next photo.

John: "I have a special photo op pose with this one.."

Remember earlier I mentioned John calls me Rackk? Yeah well this photo is a pretty good indication as to why… This wasn’t the first time he’s grabbed my boobs, and I’m fairly sure it won’t be the last! Hahaha.

So yeah, he may have been 6 hours late but in literally a couple of hours he, as always, rocked Comic Con, and just highlighted as usual why I have so much love for this man!

I was fortunate enough to be able to join John Barrowman at the studio during his photo shoot session for his new album, You Raise Me Up, back in March.

Due to the album having now been released today, I am finally allowed to post these photos that hold so many memories from such an incredible day!

The fun photos came about as a result of John explaining to the others the reason why he nicknamed me ‘Rackk’ and has proceeded to call me that for the past two years. But I’ll let you look at the photos and draw your own conclusions as to the meaning behind the name.. :D
